We learned we all needed radios. This is a big mountain. An eight hour Zealot hike or doubling up on the sled.


Skinning above tree line, a beautiful view, wet slides, cameras... but no communication. Moments after this shot I stuck a huge backflip off the cornice and stuck it on uphill ice. Long live Shane McConkey!

The Cats ran great. The best part was getting back to the van in one piece to a cold PBR. Breathable Dainese protection and the ventilated Bell helmets were key at 74 degrees.
